– There is a road-side restaurant operated by Madame Diara on the north side of Highway #7 in Mako (at the eastern edge of the park, 120 km from Dialacoto and 114 km from Dar Salam)

Health
In Dialacoto and Wassadou, there are respectively a community public health centre and a private health centre, each with a nurse available 24 hours a day for emergencies. For more serious problems, there are hospitals in Tambacounda (70 km from Dialacoto, 120 km from the interior of the National Park) and in Kedougou 165 km to the east of Dialacoto (near the Bassari and Bedik areas).
